Our client is one of the world largest car Retal Company in the world, operating in 140 countries worlwide.

Due to recent internal mobilities, we are recruiting the « Non fleet Head of procurement manager » covering  indirects purchasing for France.

Member of the Group Procurement Management Team, you are responsible for the non-fleet (indirects) sourcing & procurement activities at group level.

You manage a team of 5 people. You are a strategic Business Partner delivering a competitive advantage and sustainable value added. You collaborate with multiple departments (legal, controlling, finance, SSC) and accompany them from the expression of their purchasing needs to the monitoring of supplier performance. In line with the group procurement strategy, you define sourcing strategies according to the market and internal issues. You directly manage strategic purchasing categories for the group.

You promote best purchasing practices within the company and guarantee the application of purchasing procedures within your scope and, in particular, by internal functions. You contribute to the improvement of the company’s costs and the reduction of risks.

 

Main tasks:

  • Management of the central purchase portfolio (ECI)
  • Price and contract negotiations with external suppliers and partners
  • Execute RFPs and tenders
  • Build up a strong business partnering with the management teams at the group headquarters and countries
  • Definition and implementation of cost reduction and productivity actions
  • Rationalization of the supplier panel
  • Regular monitoring of supplier quality and implementation of KPIs
  • Definition of purchasing strategies by categories (mainly IT, Marketing and Professional Services)
  • Management of the P2P tool (Move2Buy) in collaboration with the finance/controlling department.
  • Manage and execute group wide or regional procurement initiatives and RFPs
  • Ensure the application of group procurement guidelines and local purchasing procedures and -standards
  • Regular update of saving- and performance reports
  • Spend- and supplier analysis
  • Maintain necessary activities in the Group Compliance & CSR Tool

 

Master degree 2 (e.g. in Business Administration, Procurement or Finance ideally Master 2 in Purchasing like DESMA, MAI…).

Minimum 10 years working experience in the area of Procurement (preferably Indirect Spend) with a strong affinity for creating high value added. Solid experience in managing complex teams.
