Our customer, involved in a LBO deal, is about to purchase a SME, to integrate it into a group. The business and industrial synergies are obvious, and the model has been attested as being efficient. However, we know nothing about the organisation in place and its skills (Who does what? Where does the expertise lie? Who are the key players? Will they follow the new project?). The risk is significant. Before completing the acquisition, the risk of attrition of skills and the risk of counter-productive loss need to be measured. Bold Executive carried out and supplied a detailed study of the SME’s business organisation, for each job. We then cross-referenced those items with mobility statistics, allowing our customer to complete the acquisition with total peace of mind.

One of our customers is being seriously challenged by the group to which it belongs. And this has an impact on its strategy, its business performance and its entire organisation. The company has to re-organise itself, but does not have enough tangible elements to draw a new organisation that will make it possible to perform in the future. It is imperative for this company to know its market, to understand how its direct and future competitors are structured, before re-organising its own business (to make it more suitable, more efficient and more robust). Bold Executives achieved and delivered an in-depth mapping of organisations and key people among competitors (profession experience, background, salary, responsibilities, mobility, job satisfaction level …) which enabled the definition of the target organisation and the training/acquisition/recruitment activities to undertake.

A major player in the agri-food industry

In connection with the departure of one of its senior financial managers, our customer wishes to achieve internal movement. A candidate has been identified, but a few core skills are yet to be assessed, particularly regarding team management (which increases from 5 to 22 people), strategic insight, the ability to delegate responsibility, and to transform/structure. Bold Executives’ assessment must identify the zones if risks associated with this internal move. The Assessment did confirm some weaknesses and the move did not take place. The applicant was directed toward a different, and equally exciting professional project.

Investment fund

Our customer has just finalised the takeover of a software company. The founding leader will step down in the next 12 months. The handover must therefore be bevelled and the changes accompanied. A potential external substitute has been detected and met several times. A few skills are yet to be assessed (team-managing abilities, ability to transform, project management, etc.) Bold Executives’ assessment will help analyse thoroughly those skills and provide a managerial grid, particularly helpful when integrating the new employee. The candidate was hired on the position and actively contributes to the company’s business.
